(Patrick Smith\/LIV golf via Getty Images<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>CNN received the letter threatening to sue from Jake Tapper, Bob Costas and Chris Licht, new CEO at CNN.\u00a0\u201cif an on-air public apology is not immediately made to Mr. Reed.\u201d Klayman demanded, too, that the \u201cbroadcast [be] removed and retracted from CNN\u2019s websites, streaming services and other forms of publication, in order to mitigate the damage which they three have caused.\u201d The letter went so far as saying that discipline should even be considered\u00a0\u201cmeted out to Tapper and Costas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">Klayman\u2019s letter also claimed that the broadcast was \u201calso designed to incite ridicule, hatred and violence against\u00a0LIV Golf players.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Although Tapper didn&#8217;t mention Reed in his segment he did mention that LIV earnings were equivalent to \u201cblood money.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast year, with that money, they snagged several top PGA players to come on board,\u201d Tapper stated. \u201cThe human-rights-challenged Saudis did this by offering these players quite a bit of money. A lot of money. Blood money? Sure, maybe.
