They were both also required to serve an additional 16-month probation after their release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe world thinks they know everything that\u2019s going on in our life,\u201d Todd, 54 years old, shared. \u201cDuring this podcast, at this moment that I say this, there are so many more people that are facing far worse than what we\u2019re facing. And I think that that\u2019s why I\u2019m in a better place with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Todd Chrisley believes jail is not my final destination and has faith that the &#8216;judicial system will turn it around&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/W2jH9YUyfw\">https:\/\/t.co\/W2jH9YUyfw<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Fox News (@FoxNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FoxNews\/status\/1616104476586262528?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 19, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know that this is not my final destination,\u201d He added. \u201cI know that this may be my future for a minute, but I also have faith that the judicial system is going to turn it around.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI also have faith that the appellate court is going to see this for what it is\u2026. We\u2019ve intentionally not talked about the case because we\u2019ve been asked not to,\u201d Todd continued. \u201cWe\u2019re gonna let our attorneys do the speaking on that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Julie, his wife of 50 years, shared her story with listeners earlier in the show. \u201cI don\u2019t set out to ever do the wrong thing. Do I do the wrong thing sometimes? We all make mistakes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t set out to do the wrong thing,\u201d Todd answered. \u00a0\u201cBut I do wrong things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Todd stated that you \u201cjust have to hope and pray to God that when one division of the judicial system fails, that the next level, which is the appellate court, sees the mistakes and tries to correct those mistakes,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/todd-chrisley-says-jail-not-my-final-destination-has-faith-judicial-system-is-going-to-turn-it-around\">Fox News<\/a> noted.<\/p>\n<p>His wife thanked his fans for their support. \u201coutpouring of support\u201d They received.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t even tell you what it\u2019s done\u2026,\u201d Julie explained. \u201cThe fact that you are praying and praying specifically, we appreciate that and we don\u2019t take it lightly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Todd was sent to Federal Prison Camp Pensacola to begin his 12-year sentence. Julie was also sent to Federal Correctional Institution, Federal Prison Camp Marianna and began her seven-year sentence.<\/p>\n<p>The two were convicted last January of conspiracy to bank fraud, bankfraud, tax fraud and conspiracy to defraud America.
