Invasive breast cancer was diagnosed in 287,500 women by 2022. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-cancer\">cancer<\/a>This year alone, 43,550 Americans will be diagnosed with breast cancer.<\/p>\n<p>The screening most recommended by American doctors to detect breast carcinoma is the mammogram. However, they do. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/health\/the-business-of-breast-cancer-mammogram-risks_4967280.html?utm_source=ai&#038;utm_medium=search\">have risks<\/a>. Overdiagnosis and radiation exposure are the two most dangerous. Mammograms are performed using x-rays. This is a form ionizing radiation we should avoid. Because of advances in technology, mammography has become so sensitive that it is able to pick up a wide variety of anomalies\u2014some of which may not be cancer, some of them cancers that may not progress (such as the \u201cstage 0\u201d Cancer known as ductal carcinoma (in situ) and others that can regress.<\/p>\n<p>In the present paradigm, once cancer is detected, it is treated with surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy\u2014even without knowing if it would ever become clinically significant. This is often an overdiagnosis, which can lead to many women being exposed to significant risks from unnecessary breast cancer treatment. These tools can be extremely helpful in the prevention of breast cancer and they can also be very useful tools for long-term prevention strategies. Although each tool is different in terms of its scope and methods, it is important to be informed about all options for detection and prevention in order to better understand this deadly disease.<\/p>\n<p>These are six early detection tools that you might not be aware of.<\/p>\n<h2>Thermography<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/32613403\/#:~:text=Delay%20in%20diagnosis%20of%20this,and%20well%20accepted%20in%201956.\">Thermography as a screening tool<\/a> It was introduced for the first time in 1956.<\/p>\n<p>Thermography uses sensitive infrared cameras with special software to visualize and detect temperature variations in the skin. You can use it on any part of your body, but most commonly on the breasts. This allows you to detect temperature variations and heat increases.<\/p>\n<p>The principle of thermography states that the metabolic activity and vascular circulation of pre-cancerous tissue is almost always greater than in normal tissue. These areas can become \u2018hot spots\u2019 This was clearly seen on a thermographic scan. \u2018Hot spots\u2019 It appears to be red in comparison to surrounding tissue which is either yellow, green, or blu.<\/p>\n<p>Cancerous tumors have a voracious appetite and require an increasing supply of nutrients and blood. It can become very sick. <a href=\"https:\/\/breastthermography.com\/breast-thermography\/\">dilates existing blood vessels, resurrects dormant vessels, and creates new vessels<\/a> (neoangiogenesis), to supply blood and nutrients directly to the cancerous cells. The breast&#8217;s surface temperature rises due to increased circulation.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike mammography, thermography is non-invasive\u2014there is no radiation, no compression, the machine does not touch the body, and there is no pain. Patients are free to have as many thermography scans they like without any danger. The idea behind thermography scanners is that they are able to detect breast changes (increased warmth) years before a cancer develops.<\/p>\n<h2>Limitations in Thermography<\/h2>\n<p>Like mammography and thermography, thermography is not a diagnostic tool. It cannot determine if you have any cancer. Further testing is recommended if there is increased heat in the breast. You can use thermography to detect breast heat early and monitor changes over time.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s10916-020-01581-y\">comprehensive review<\/a> In 2020, the Journal of Medical Systems published an article that looked at various screening tools for breast cancer. The focus was on thermography. According to the review authors, thermography has been refocused by many biomedical researchers around the world due to the advancements in thermography technology and equipment. The review concluded that thermography could be used to detect breast cancer early in women, particularly younger ones.<\/p>\n<p>Although Medicare does not cover the cost of a US-based thermography scan, some private insurance companies may pay a portion or all of the costs. A scan costs between $150 and $200 on average. A referral from your doctor is not required to get a scan. There are many centers offering thermography across the country.<\/p>\n<h2>The Oncoblot test<\/h2>\n<p>The ONCOblot Test was developed and created by Dr. D. James Morr\u00e9 and Dr. Dorothy M. Morr\u00e9 of Mor-NuCo, Purdue Research Park, West Lafayette, IN.<\/p>\n<p>ENOX 2, a protein found in blood, can be detected using the ONCOblot test. ENOX 2, which is shed from cancer cells&#8217; surfaces into the bloodstream, is only found in people with cancer cells. Based on over twenty years of research, the test was developed. <a href=\"https:\/\/oncoblotlabs.com\/how-it-works\/\">ONCOblot labs website<\/a>, can detect the presence of cancer at approximately two million cells\u2014a very early stage.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast, a <a href=\"https:\/\/oncoblotlabs.com\/how-it-works\/\">mammogram can only detect a tumor made up of about 4.5 trillion cells<\/a>The ONCOblot Test can detect breast cancer up to a decade before it is detected. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-mammogram\">mammogram<\/a> You would see it. The Cancer Center for Healing is an integrative cancer treatment center that offers the ONCOblot test as well the RGCC test (the next one on the list), thermography scans as well the Cancer Profile and many other tests. The RGCC Group claims their team of scientists has developed a range of tests that give comprehensive information about a person\u2019s genetics, physiology, and immune profiles giving them a personalized approach to effective treatment. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/rgcc-international.com\/about-rgcc-tests\/\">their website<\/a>The accuracy rate of the tests for breast, prostate and pancreas cancers is 83 to 87 per cent. A <a href=\"https:\/\/pdfs.semanticscholar.org\/6baa\/38a791a5c95fe512f8fa82be0f2ab333fb76.pdf\">comparative study<\/a> published in The Journal of Cancer Therapy in 2015 corroborates these numbers with the researchers finding that it was possible to detect CTC\u2019s with higher sensitivity (86.2 percent) and specificity (83.9 percent) compared to standard clinical methodologies.<\/p>\n<p>The RGCC Test isolates, counts, identifies. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41392-021-00817-8\">circulating tumor cells<\/a> And <a href=\"https:\/\/jbiomedsci.biomedcentral.com\/articles\/10.1186\/s12929-018-0426-4\">cancer stem cells<\/a> Then, they are tested against various chemotherapy agents and natural treatments. The tool uses seven main factors to determine a woman\u2019s risk of developing breast cancer.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Age<\/li>\n<li>Age at the first period (menarche).<\/li>\n<li>Age at the time of birth (or if she is not pregnant)<\/li>\n<li>Breast cancer in the family (mother, sister and daughter)<\/li>\n<li>Past breast biopsies<\/li>\n<li>A number of breast biopsies demonstrating atypical hyperplasia<\/li>\n<li>Race\/ethnicity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to the Susan G. Komen organization\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.komen.org\/breast-cancer\/risk-factor\/understanding-risks\/gail-method\/\">website<\/a>\u2014which claims the title of the world\u2019s largest nonprofit of funding for the fight against breast cancer\u2014women with a risk of 1.67 percent or higher are considered \u201chigh-risk\u201d. 5.-year risk of 1.67% or greater <a href=\"https:\/\/prevention.cancer.gov\/news-and-events\/news\/fda-approves-raloxifene\">FDA<\/a> Guideline for taking a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.komen.org\/breast-cancer\/risk-factor\/topics\/options-for-women-at-high-risk\/drugs\/\">risk-lowering drug<\/a> To reduce your risk of developing breast carcinoma in the future. The tool can&#8217;t accurately assess the breast cancer risk of women who have the breast cancer mutation BRCA1 and BRCA2 as well as women with a history of breast cancer. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cancer.org\/cancer\/breast-cancer\/about\/types-of-breast-cancer\/dcis.html\">in situ<\/a> Breast cancer, or invasive breast carcinoma.
