take questions\u2026Would you commit to having [him] come here &#038; take questions?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>KJP: &#8220;That is something\u2026I would refer you to the WH counsel&#8217;s office&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vogBlaMqFd\">pic.twitter.com\/vogBlaMqFd<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CurtisHouck\/status\/1615821428212867072?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 18, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jean-Pierre also got into it with another reporter who asked about Biden commenting on the investigation into Trump.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to reference an interview that President Biden did in mid-September with \u201960 Minutes,\u2019\u201d the reporter said. \u201cAnd in that interview, he chided former President Trump for having in his possession classified documents. He called it irresponsible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst of all, do you think it was proper for President Biden to comment on an ongoing DOJ investigation?\u201d the reporter asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, I\u2019m gonna say this, and we\u2019re gonna keep it really short today, as it relates to this particular issue, as it relates to an ongoing legal matter,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/karine-jean-pierre-deflects-questions-over-bidens-classified-document-scandal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopEner noopener\">Jean-Pierre<\/a> responded. \u201cI\u2019m going to refer you to Department of Justice with that specific as it relates to anything that you want to ask of us about this legal matter, I would refer you to the White House counsel office.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going to leave it there,\u201d she continued. \u201cNot going to go into further.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m simply asking you to comment on the person that you work for,\u201d the reporter responded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just, I just commented,\u201d she claimed. \u201cI just commented. We\u2019re moving on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGo ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead.
