She also read the comments to a People magazine article about her and her children at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSooooo I made the unfortunate decision to look at some comments on an article from People [magazine] about me and my kids at the CCA,\u201d Applegate tweets<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf course I told her that it wasn\u2019t nice,\u201d She added. \u201cThis was her reply. What is wrong with people. By the way, I laughed.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe \u201cBad Moms\u201d Star shared a screenshot from the reply she received from the person she mentioned in her tweet, claiming she looked different due to the fact that star was not the same. \u201cbad\u201d plastic surgery<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMS didn\u2019t make you look that way,\u201d The troll wrote the following: \u201cDead to Me\u201d star\u2019s diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA plastic surgeon did,\u201d The message has been added \u201cAnd you are a scammer and not [Christina] Applegate. And a bad plastic surgeon at that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Applegate had tweeted earlier about how nervous and excited she was to attend the awards show, as it would be her first since being diagnosed with cancer.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Sooooo I made the unfortunate decision to look at some comments on an article from people mag about me and my kids at the CCA.Of course I told her that it wasn\u2019t nice.
