Go Blue!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">Harbaugh led the Wolverines&#8217; 74-25 record in the eight previous seasons. Last February, Harbaugh signed a $36.7 million contract for a five-year deal with the Wolverines.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI love the relationships that I have at Michigan \u2014 coaches, staff, families, administration, president Santa Ono and especially the players and their families,\u201d Harbaugh stated in a statement. \u201cMy heart is at the University of Michigan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI once heard a wise man say, \u2018Don\u2019t try to out-happy, happy.\u2019 Go Blue!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">Harbaugh was interviewed by several NFL teams in the past two seasons but decided to stay in Ann Arbor, Mich. He was linked to both the Minnesota Vikings and the Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts, and Denver Broncos last off-season.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Harbaugh was a quarterback in the NFL between 1987 and 2000. He also played at Michigan from 1983 to 1986.<\/p>\n<p>From 2011 to 2014, he was the San Francisco 49ers&#8217; coach and posted a record of 44-19-1. He was San Diego&#8217;s head coach from 2004 to 2006 and Stanford from 2007 to 2010. In 2002 and 2003, he was also the Raiders&#8217; quarterbacks coach. Harbaugh served as an assistant coach at Western Kentucky between 1994 and 2001.<\/p>\n<p>The Wolverines were 13-1 and ranked No. The Wolverines were ranked No. 2 in the 2022-23 College Football Playoff rankings. Their 13 wins set a single-season school record.
