(Matthew Stockman\/Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Craig Tiley, the chief executive officer of Tennis Australia had stated prior to the tournament that he was not fully aware of the controversy in Italy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think there\u2019s still a lot to be uncovered on that and I think that\u2019s going to be ultimately up to their family and the relevant authorities including the tour. I don\u2019t really know any further detail,\u201d He stated.<\/p>\n<p>Australia still has its strict COVID requirements but no longer requires travellers to present proof of vaccination. Additionally, she participated in the Open last year while these requirements were still in force.
