She did not reply, leading to a torrent of messages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe slid into one of the girls\u2019 DMs several times but she didn\u2019t respond,\u201d Source <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/crime\/idaho-murders-suspect-bryan-kohberger-messaged-victim-instagram-says-source\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>. \u201cBasically, it was just him saying, \u2018Hey, how are you?\u2019 But he did it again and again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ann Taylor, his public defense attorney, filed motions last Wednesday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/suspected-idaho-killer-requests-documents-related-to-co-defendant-who-has-never-been-mentioned-by-police\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">requesting<\/a> \u201cAny written or recorded statements by a co-defendant, and the substance of any relevant oral statement made by a co-defendant whether before or after arrest in response to interrogation by any person known by the co-defendant to be a peace officer or agent of the prosecuting attorney, or which are otherwise relevant to the offense charged.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Inside Edition: The suspect asked law enforcement officers if they had ever arrested anyone else in connection to the crime. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insideedition.com\/bryan-kohberger-co-defendant-accomplice-idaho-murders?fbclid=IwAR2FthXZwbpJYVVqYnVPjoDydHAV_3ftHdnrAYmWQ655A4M6UUU8VLiD4yw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor also filed 17 more requests for discovery. These included drug testing related to the case. \u201cpayments, promises of leniency, preferential treatment or other inducements or threats made to prospective witnesses,\u201d Disclosures relating to electronic surveillance \u201cDisclosure of whether a defendant, or any other person, was identified by lineup, show up, photo spread or similar identification proceeding relating to the offense charged, and production of any pictures utilized or resulting therefrom and the names, addresses and telephone numbers of all identifying witnesses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The last request could refer to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/idaho-murder-suspect-appears-in-court-plans-to-challenge-the-evidence-against-him\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a section<\/a> According to the probable cause statement, Dylan Mortensen (one of the survivors) saw a man walking away from the house just before the murders. Mortensen claimed that she opened her doors several times after hearing the upstairs noises. On the third occasion, she saw a man in black clothes and a mask covering his nose and mouth moving toward her. She said the man was 5\u201910\u201d or taller, athletically built but not muscular, with bushy eyebrows. She stated that the man walked past her in a standing position. \u201cfrozen shock phase.\u201d She claimed that he left the house and she locked her bedroom.<\/p>\n<p>Police were able to match the suspect with a white Hyundai Elantra and a cell phone that could be traced back to the scene of the crime.
