And if men could get pregnant, we wouldn\u2019t see Congress trying to pass laws restricting abortion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adams, who said the city would become the model for women\u2019s health care, detailed in the plan that the clinics dispensing the controversial pill would join public hospitals citywide that already offer medication abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Together, the four sites could provide up to 10,000 abortion drugs annually to women in order to get around insurance issues and avoid paying bills that could have been caused by being admitted to hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>The mayor\u2019s announcement comes just 24 hours after nearly two dozen attorneys general sent a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/22-attorneys-general-urge-fda-to-reverse-abortion-pill-decision\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">letter<\/a> Federal Drug Administration Commissioner Dr. Robert Califf asked the agency to reverse its decision not to certify retail pharmacies that can dispense abortion pills.<\/p>\n<p>The letter argues that the distribution of abortion-inducing drugs threatens women\u2019s health.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Food and Drug Administration\u2019s decision to abandon commonsense restrictions on remotely prescribing and administering abortion-inducing drugs is both illegal and dangerous,\u201d The letter was read. \u201cIn direct contravention of longstanding FDA practice and congressional mandate, the FDA\u2019s rollback of important safety restrictions ignores both women\u2019s health and straightforward federal statutes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Such medications used to induce abortions, Mifeprex and its generic Mifepristone Tablets, are approved by the FDA for up to 10 weeks gestation, as a woman\u2019s health risk reportedly increases after that time.<\/p>\n<p>FDA officials first approved Mifepristone in 2000. \u201cserious risks for women, including infection and bleeding,\u201d The letter was pointed out.<\/p>\n<p>Later, officials imposed several restrictions as part of the Risk Evaluation Mitigation Strategie.<\/p>\n<p>In November, four national medical organizations and doctors filed a lawsuit against federal government officials for illegally approving chemical abortion drugs. \u201charm\u201d females.<\/p>\n<p>The Alliance Defending Freedom, which represents the case, has accused FDA officials \u201cillegally\u201d It pushed for the legalization in 2000 of chemical abortion drugs misoprostol (mifepristone) and was a priority over science.<\/p>\n<p>According to the group, FDA could not authorize drugs if it considered pregnancy an anemic condition. \u201cillness\u201d These drugs are argued to provide an advantage. \u201cmeaningful therapeutic benefit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lawyers further allege the federal agency never studied the drug\u2019s safety and the potential impacts it could have on blocking hormone development in adolescent female bodies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPregnancy is not an illness, and chemical abortion drugs don\u2019t provide a therapeutic benefit\u2014they end a baby\u2019s life and they pose serious and life-threatening complications to the mother,\u201d Julie Marie Blake is senior counsel to the organization. <a href=\"https:\/\/adflegal.org\/press-release\/doctors-health-care-groups-sue-fda-approving-dangerous-chemical-abortion-drugs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news release<\/a>. \u201cThe FDA never had the authority to approve these dangerous drugs for sale. We urge the court to listen to the doctors we represent who are seeking to protect girls and women from the documented dangers of chemical abortion drugs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lawyers for Biden&#8217;s administration informed a federal judge Tuesday that the public would suffer if abortion pills weren&#8217;t made available.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe public interest would be dramatically harmed by effectively withdrawing from the marketplace a safe and effective drug that has lawfully been on the market for twenty-two years,\u201d The U.S. Food and Drug Administration submitted the information to U.S. district Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk. Fox News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/health\/biden-fda-warns-judge-reversing-abortion-drugs-approval\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 1973 Constitution was rewritten in a historic manner. <em>Roe v.
