The outlet reported that Julie, his wife and reality star of 50 years, went to the Federal Correctional Institution (Federal Prison Camp Marianna) the same day to start her seven-year sentence.<\/p>\n<p>The representatives of both stars did not respond to our request. The pair were convicted of conspiracy to commit fraud in bank, tax, and bank accounts, respectively, last year. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/reality-stars-todd-and-julie-chrisley-sentenced-to-prison\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Daily Wire<\/a> As previously reported. Julie was also convicted for wire fraud and obstruction.<\/p>\n<p>According to the outlet, the couple were sentenced in November to a total 19-year term. The pair was convicted by a jury of fraud and tax evasion. Following their individual releases, the outlet noted that both were sentenced to 16 months probation.<\/p>\n<p>The couple previously issued a statement to People on how they were going about appealing their convictions.<\/p>\n<p>Chrisley\u2019s attorney, Alex Little of Burr &#038; Forman LLP, said in a statement, in part, \u201cTheir trial was marred by serious and repeated errors, including the government lying to jurors about what taxes the couple paid. Based on these issues, we are optimistic about the road ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Musa Ghanayem, the attorney for Lindsie Chrisley, the couple\u2019s daughter, told the magazine about what the legal steps were for Todd and Julie\u2019s appeal process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe legal process would be if a new trial was ordered, they\u2019d have to go through the whole process again,\u201d The attorney spoke at the time. \u201cIf there was an issue that was incorrect, it can be sent back down to be correct[ed].
