Peltz stated that he would face poor succession planning, excessive compensation and lackluster cost discipline if elected to the board. Disney made recent headlines. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/reeling-disney-fires-ceo-as-woke-culture-blamed-for-stock-plunge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reinstating<\/a> Bob Iger, a former chief executive officer, is now 71 and will succeed Bob Chapek. Trian claimed it doesn&#8217;t have plans to replace Iger.
