It stated that his &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/gov-desantis-press-secretary-says-pressure-from-woke-corporations-strengthened-governors-decision-to-sign-fairness-in-womens-sports-act\">Stop WOKE Act<\/a>&#8220;Act that bans critical race theory and other theories from being promoted &#8220;woke&#8221; The state does not allow ideologies to be displayed on its college campuses.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Although this court would not hesitate to compel compliance with its preliminary injunction, this court finds there has been no violation of the injunction at this time,&#8221; U.S. District judge Mark E. Walker wrote Thursday, according the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/news\/education\/os-ne-stop-woke-education-order-ruling-20230113-lehczbxjvfhp7exhkp2i6kg4yu-story.html\">Orlando Sentinel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The law is also known as the &#8220;Stop Wrongs To Our Kids and Employees Act,&#8221; Some students and professors accused the university of not complying with a preliminary order that prohibits enforcement of certain sections of the legislation.<\/p>\n<p>In a &#8220;motion to compel&#8221; On Wednesday, the plaintiffs filed an objection claiming that compliance with a memo issued by DeSantis&#8217; Office of Policy and Budget would constitute a violation of the preliminary injunction.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Spencer directed institutions of higher learning to follow the instructions in his memo. &#8220;provide a comprehensive list of all staff, programs and campus activities related to diversity, equity and inclusion and critical race theory.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The state&#8217;s legal team responded by arguing that the requested information is part of the annual budgeting process for DeSantis.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Walker agreed with the DeSantis administration. He stated that the directive did not violate college rights.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/judge-halts-desantis-woke-act-at-universities-calling-professors-priests-of-democracy\">same judge previously called the Stop WOKE Act &#8220;positively dystopian,&#8221;<\/a> It was prohibited to impose sanctions upon granting an injunction early November, or after. <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/desantis-stop-woke-act-blocked-by-florida-judge\">another block in August<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The University of Central Florida&#8217;s English Department opened in July <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/florida-university-temporarily-suspends-anti-racism-statement-after-desantis-woke-act\">suspended its anti-racism statement<\/a>In response to the governor\u2019s legislation, he seized it and then resuscitated it.<\/p>\n<p>Skyler Swisher, Orlando Sentinel reporter, posted photos of the original suspension that read, &#8220;As of July 1, 2022, the statement is suspended as it violates Florida law.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to the Orlando Sentinel, at least two lawsuits have been filed against the law that was passed in December 2021, and became effective in July 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A federal court ruled in favor Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
