People can know for themselves instead of picking and choosing what views they want people to see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Capitol Police claims that the system of cameras captured more footage than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2021\/03\/29\/capitol-police-jan6-footage-478439\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">14,000 hours footage<\/a> between noon and 8 p.m. on the day a crowd of people entered the U.S. Capitol, disrupting lawmakers meeting to certify President Joe Biden\u2019s 2020 election victory.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/matt-gaetz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matt Gaetz<\/a> (R-FL), has aired a commercial insisting on this footage \u201cwould give more full context to that day rather than the cherry-picked moments the January 6 Committee tried to use to inflame and further divide our country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gaetz spoke with CNN to say that the footage could prove exonerating evidence to the January 6 defendants.
