Three former Twitter employees were involved in the class action lawsuit. They claimed they had opted out from the Twitter arbitration agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Donato had ruled last year that Twitter must notify thousands of employees who were laid off by Elon Musk&#8217;s acquisition. Many more employees subsequently resigned.<\/p>\n<h2>Other Legal Cases<\/h2>\n<p>Twitter also faces legal challenges, including being sued for not paying rent in San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p>The office&#8217;s landlord filed a complaint against Twitter for breaching its lease. Twitter is located in California and was heard in state court Dec. 29, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter was notified in December that it owed $136,260 in rent. (Stephen Lam\/San Francisco Chronicle via AP).<\/figure>\n<p>Twitter didn&#8217;t respond when The Epoch Times asked for comment. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/twitter-sued-for-allegedly-not-paying-rent-for-california-office_4958843.html?utm_source=ai&#038;utm_medium=search\">reported<\/a> This matter was discussed earlier in the month.<\/p>\n<p>According to the court docket, the summons was issued to the company before the new year.<\/p>\n<p>A case management conference was scheduled for May 31,<\/p>\n<p>Twitter was also sued in 2022 after it was accused of failing to pay $200,000 for flights.<\/p>\n<p>According to a suit filed in New Hampshire federal court, Twitter entered into a purchase agreement with Private Jet Services Group in 2020. Several employees used the private charter services in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>According to the suit, $197,725 worth of invoices was not paid for the flights.<\/p>\n<p>Private Jet Services Group is seeking damages, attorneys\u2019 fees, and any other relief deemed necessary and proper.
