Of those, only 5% said that it would. \u201cmuch better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">46 percent think it will worsen, while 24 percent say it will get worse. \u201cmuch worse.\u201d Another 16% said they do not expect any changes.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p3\">This pessimistic trend can be correlated with many issues. Only 24 percent of respondents believe that the nation&#8217;s economy will improve in 2018, compared with 45 percent who think it will decline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Twenty percent of Americans believe that the U.S. financial market will improve, while 42 percent think it will get worse. Nearly one-third of respondents stated that it will get worse.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p3\">Only 22 percent of those polled believe that the quality of health care coverage will improve in 2019. Only six percent of those surveyed believe it will improve. \u201cmuch better.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Forty-three percent believe government spending will continue to worsen this year \u2014 a belief that comes on the heels of the $1.7 trillion spending spree signed by President Biden in December. 25 percent of those surveyed believe government spending is likely to increase. \u201cmuch worse\u201d This is the year.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Americans also have low confidence in job security improving \u2014 24 percent believe it will improve. The same 24 percent believe the economy in their region will grow in 2023. 23 percent of respondents said the same about energy issues.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">This survey was conducted among 1,500 adult U.S citizens between December 31 and January 3, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The same survey revealed that 56 percent believed the direction of the nation is in the best interests of the country. \u201coff on the wrong track\u201d 49% viewed President Biden as unfavorable.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to a survey, Americans aren&#8217;t optimistic about key issues improving over the next year.
