Jim Banks, Indiana, is calling for a ban to private financing of elections.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence (USA Alliance for Election Excellence) is a project by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/center-for-tech-and-civic-life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Center for Tech and Civic Life<\/a>A group called, which funneled $328 million during 2020&#8217;s presidential election \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/10\/13\/how-mark-zuckerberg-helped-swing-the-electorate-in-the-2020-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zuckbucks<\/a>\u201d from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to mostly blue counties of swing states to mobilize potential Democrat voters and help swing the race in Joe Biden\u2019s favor. CTCL seems to be hoping for a repeat of its success in 2020. This time, however, it will likely do so largely under the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence. <\/p>\n<p>While <a href=\"https:\/\/capitalresearch.org\/article\/states-banning-zuck-bucks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">24 states<\/a> have enacted bans or restrictions on private money being used to administer elections, some states\u2019 Democrat governors have vetoed such bans, including Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrivate money has no place in public election infrastructure,\u201d Banks <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2023\/01\/10\/house-republicans-call-ban-big-tech-private-funding-election-administration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Submitted<\/a> The Daily Signal \u201cMost Democrat-controlled states will never prevent their Big Tech partners from influencing their elections. \u2026 A Republican House majority needs to step up and pass national legislation to prevent private actors from funding election organizations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Banks was one 13 House Republicans who backed 2021 <a href=\"https:\/\/tenney.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/congresswoman-claudia-tenney-introduces-bill-end-zuckerbucks-safeguard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Legislation<\/a> Amending the Internal Revenue Code so that 501(c),(3) tax-exempt organisations can&#8217;t directly fund official election administration. With their new majority, House Republicans must now pay attention to the left\u2019s secret funding apparatus and use their power to stop it \u2014 or, if Democrats in the Senate or President Joe Biden shoot it down, force them to defend the privatizing of elections.<\/p>\n<p>Another heavily funded get-out-the-(Democratic)-vote scheme House Republicans must crack down on are Democrats\u2019 use of 501(c)(3) \u201ccharities\u201d You can micro-target potential Democratic voters and still register them, even though the IRS is not there <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irs.gov\/charities-non-profits\/charitable-organizations\/the-restriction-of-political-campaign-intervention-by-section-501c3-tax-exempt-organizations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Interdiction<\/a> These groups are prohibited from participating in \u201cvoter education or registration activities with evidence of bias that (a) would favor one candidate over another; (b) oppose a candidate in some manner; or (c) have the effect of favoring a candidate or group of candidates.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>As the Wall Street Journal\u2019s Kimberley Strassel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/democrats-charity-voter-registration-scheme-tax-exemption-soros-democracy-philanthropy-501c3-georgia-11663883529\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Notes<\/a>, groups like the New Georgia Project (which The New York Times) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/09\/20\/us\/politics\/voter-registration-fundraising.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lauds<\/a> By registering thousands of voters, Georgia became a blue-state. <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/12\/01\/thank-sam-bankman-fried-for-democrats-2022-ground-game\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mind The Gap<\/a> (a leftist Super PAC, which advises donors on bankrolling voter registration nonprofits), are clear about electing Democrats, but they do not face any penalties or retribution<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After it was reported that the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence will give out $500,000 grants to two beneficiaries (and $1.5 million to another) leading up to the 2024 election cycle, Republican Rep.
