Instead, the president\u2019s pursuit of an environmental agenda driven by left-wing fringe groups throws American workers under a Chinese electric bus.<\/p>\n<p>China, let&#8217;s face it, is a truthful country <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/bidens-buy-american-clean-energy-conundrum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">It is the dominant factor<\/a> The green energy supply chain. The Red Dragon runs the entire road to renewables, from solar panels made in Xinjiang by slave labor to lithium battery plants located in Sichuan. Collin Anderson, our colleague\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/bidens-doe-funnels-50-million-to-green-energy-company-that-sources-materials-from-china\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> This week, a grant of $50 million from the Biden Administration to a Lithium Battery Company was announced. It is supposedly to &#8220;ensure our clean-energy future is American made.&#8221;&#8221; What do you know, it sources its materials in China.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a tale as old as time. Want to buy a union-built, American electric vehicle, as Biden has encouraged? Good luck finding one that&#8217;s made with domestic components. How about solar panels for your home? If the raw materials don&#8217;t come from Uyghur concentration camps, they&#8217;ll be tough to find. &#8220;China&#8217;s grip over clean energy&#8221; <em>Washington\u00a0<\/em><em>Free Beacon<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/bidens-buy-american-clean-energy-conundrum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> Biden&#8217;s push towards a greener energy economy in February 2021 will likely bring the communist nation benefits.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Fast forward two years and that prediction is playing out in real time: The Biden Energy Department sent $200 million in October to an electric battery company that <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/doe-touts-200m-grant-to-lithium-battery-company-as-boon-to-american-made-clean-energy-the-company-operates-primarily-from-china\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">operates primarily in China<\/a>.
