But inflation is slowing while the job market is still healthy \u2014 an enviable combination,\u201d The caption assures. <\/p>\n<p>What the graph really does is show the latest CPI numbers are only slightly down from the 40-year high that\u2019s defined Biden\u2019s presidency.<\/p>\n<p>Contrary the dominant narrative, official stats reveal that Americans continue to pay too much for essential goods &#038; services in comparison to December 2021. Energy accounts for approximately 5% of the total cost of energy. <a href=\"https:\/\/neo.ne.gov\/programs\/stats\/inf\/195.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">significant portion of Americans\u2019 spending<\/a>The average increase in monetary value was 7.3% since December 2021. The 10.4 percent increase in food prices, which was double the rate of last year, is 10.4 percent.
