(Don Juan Moore\/Getty Images).<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cForcing [the] plaintiffs to choose between continuation of their employment and a violation of their religious beliefs in order to retain their livelihoods imposes a substantial burden on plaintiffs\u2019 ability to conduct themselves in accordance with their sincerely held religious beliefs,\u201d the pair\u2019s attorney, Christopher Dunn, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/sports\/former-espn-employees-suing-company-covid-19-vaccine-requirement\">The complaint was filed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>They were both fired in 2021 for not following the mandate. In an October 2021 Instagram post, Williams said that she could not violate her values and morals to accommodate her employer\u2019s demands.<br \/>\u201cI have been denied my request for accommodation by ESPN and The Walt Disney Company, and effective next week, I will be separated from the company,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CVEM6bfh2gP\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">She said<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m so morally and ethically not aligned with this. I\u2019ve had to really dig deep and analyze my values and my morals. Ultimately, I need to put them first.
