However, this proposal is unlikely to become law because Democrats control the Senate as well as the White House. Roy has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/117th-congress\/house-bill\/419\/text?r=1&#038;s=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Put forward<\/a> The measure was also used in the past.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The WHO not only regularly promotes abortion and radical gender ideology but also praised China for their &#8216;leadership&#8217; at the beginning of COVID-19 and has done nothing to hold the CCP accountable for the spread of COVID-19. It is far past time for Congress to use its power of the purse to cut off US funding to this corrupt international body just like the Trump Administration did,&#8221; Roy stated this, according to the press release.<\/p>\n<p>Roy joined Reps. Tom McClintock and Jeff Duncan of South Carolina, Mary Miller in Illinois, Andrew Clyde from Georgia, Diana Harshbarger, of Tennessee, Matt Rosendale, of Montana, Marjorie Taylor Greene (Georgia), Paul Gosar on Arizona, Dan Bishop on North Carolina, John Moolenaar off Michigan, Pat Fallon, Andy Biggs and Wesley Hunt in Texas in introducing the measure.
