This is in line with its plans. &#8220;clean energy economy&#8221; This heavily relies on Chinese batteries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The executive order, expected to be released in the next months, places new restrictions on which types of Chinese technology U.S. investment firms and corporations can support. These controls were not expected to be extended to electric batteries. However, the Biden administration is now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2023\/01\/12\/white-house-biden-china-executive-order-cfius\">Chinese battery technology to be excluded<\/a> From the new limits <em>Axios<\/em> reported Thursday morning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>It&#8217;s because China needs Chinese batteries in order to launch its green energy revolution. China <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/bidens-buy-american-clean-energy-conundrum\/\"><span>The dominant force<\/span><\/a><span> The supply chain for electric batteries, as President Joe Biden has so far <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/biden-pledged-to-support-us-miners-now-hes-looking-to-outsource-their-work-to-foreign-green-energy-mines\/\"><span>Possibly killed or delayed<\/span><\/a><span> U.S. projects in mining that could provide the material needed to loosen China&#8217;s grip over the industry. Biden still released an announcement in 2021. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2021\/08\/05\/fact-sheet-president-biden-announces-steps-to-drive-american-leadership-forward-on-clean-cars-and-trucks\/\"><span>Plan<\/span><\/a><span> Democrat administration announced that half of all new cars sold in 2030 would be electric. &#8220;support good-paying, union jobs across American supply chains.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Biden is not unfamiliar with the dependence of China on electric cars.
