Turley said that the fact that documents were found in several locations is a sign of the document&#8217;s authenticity. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/the-biden-classified-documents-just-keep-coming-and-john-kennedy-has-just-four-questions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden\u2019s claim<\/a> \u2014 that he only left the White House with them because they were \u201cinadvertently misplaced\u201d \u2014 far less plausible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe \u2018inadvertent\u2019 defense has its dangers. And one is not criminal (Biden). Say it in plain English,\u201d Lawrence Tribe spoke highly of the two.<\/p>\n<p>Turley explained how difficult it was to fix the problem. \u201cinadvertently misplaced\u201d It is possible to excuse yourself, especially considering the multiple locations where the documents are located.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt seems that these documents were likely moved more than once. Biden left office as vice president in 2017. He presumably took these documents at that time. However, they ended up in different places, including one document found separately from the \u2018garage files\u2019 in the residence,\u201d Turley explained.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the Penn Biden Center did not open its doors until February of 2018 \u2014 more than a year after Biden vacated the White House \u2014 meaning that the documents were in one location after Biden left the White House and had to be moved at least once before they were discovered in his office there.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt some point, some documents were sent to the office and some to the residence and garage. What explained this division if it was not based on what the then vice president was working on?\u201d Turley continued. \u201cThe \u2018inadvertent\u2019 defense hardly fits neatly with these facts.
