However, there are still concerns about other cancers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The report <a href=\"https:\/\/acsjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/full\/10.3322\/caac.21763\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Published<\/a> On Thursday, the CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians stated that although the pandemic did occur, it was not the same as other leading causes of death. However, the cancer mortality rate continued to drop from 2019 to 2020. This resulted in a drop of 33% from 1991 to 2020, with an estimated 3.8million deaths.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">But not all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cancer<\/a> The rates fell. After twenty years of declining prostate cancer rates, the rate for 2019 was 3% higher. The rates of breast and uterine cancers rose as well. The report said that early detection can be a key to preventing all these cancers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cThere\u2019s a significant call to arms,\u201d\u00a0Karen Knudsen, the American Cancer Society\u2019s chief executive officer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/u-s-cancer-death-rate-has-dropped-by-a-third-since-1991-11673535327\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Telled<\/a> The Wall Street Journal.\u00a0\u201cWe are not catching these cancers early when we have an opportunity to cure men of prostate cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As noted by the Journal, prostate cancer rates have dropped by approximately 40% from 2007 to 2014. This is due to lower levels of testosterone. \u201clocalized tumors\u201d PSA testing was used to detect diagnoses. The United States Preventive Services Task Force said men 75 years old and up shouldn\u2019t be screened in 2008 \u2013 and in 2012, they said all men shouldn\u2019t be screened. However, the report found that prostate cancer rates have increased every year since 2014 to 2019.
