Hunter Biden sent an email to CEFC China Energy&#8217;s general manager about the K Street office. He said that Hudson West, his consulting firm, and the Biden foundation, his family charity would share the office.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;[P]lease have keys made available for new office mates,&#8221; Hunter Biden sent an email to his uncle Jim Biden on Sept. 21, 2017. He listed Joe Biden as his stepmother Jill Biden and Gongwen Dog. &#8220;emissary&#8221; Chairman of the bankrupt Chinese energy conglomerate CEFC.<\/p>\n<p>The Bidens left office in 2018 and their cohabitation could be a concern for national security due to the revelations that Joe Biden had classified documents about Ukraine, Iran, the United Kingdom, and another Washington, D.C. office. Biden aides have also discovered classified records in Biden\u2019s garage at his home in Wilmington, Del. On Thursday, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed a special counsel in order to investigate the nature of some documents. &#8220;top secret,&#8221; Ended up at the Biden properties.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Darrell Issa (R., Calif.), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, said the discoveries should prompt the Justice Department to conduct an exhaustive search of all of Joe and Hunter Biden\u2019s current and former properties.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If the DOJ and specifically the FBI haven\u2019t conducted the widest possible search of every known location where Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and their associates may have kept classified documents\u2014this is in no way a complete or legitimate investigation,&#8221; Issa said the <em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>It is unclear whether any classified materials were stored at the Bidens\u2019 K Street office. But CEFC employees\u2019 access to the office could be of particular concern given the energy conglomerate\u2019s ties to Chinese military intelligence. Hunter Biden worked closely with the firm\u2019s former chairman, Ye Jianming.
