He waived the right to a speedy hearing and promised through his attorney that he would challenge the evidence against himself.<\/p>\n<p>According to Daily Wire policy the suspect is 28 years old and faces four counts of first degree murder and one count felony burglary. His next court date is June 26, and he was placed on no bail.<\/p>\n<p>Megan Marshall, Latah County Magistrate, announced that there would be \u201cno bail at this point in time pending further proceedings.\u201d She also asked the suspect if he understood the charges against him and that waiving his right to a speedy preliminary hearing meant he couldn\u2019t challenge the delay at a future date.<\/p>\n<p>Fox News reports that the delay was to allow his lawyers to gather evidence to contest the charges against him. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/idaho-murders-suspect-bryan-kohberger-will-challenge-evidence-lawyer-says\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He has yet to enter a plea and is waiting to see if the state of Idaho seeks the death penalty against his case. His attorneys indicated that he would likely plead not guilty. Law &#038; Crime <a href=\"https:\/\/lawandcrime.com\/live-trials\/idaho-four\/idaho-quadruple-murder-suspect-bryan-kohberger-to-remain-in-custody-without-bail-after-court-appearance\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect is not allowed to leave prison without being convicted.https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/jail-trying-to-accommodate-accused-idaho-killers-vegan-diet-but-wont-buy-new-pots-and-pans&#8221;>reportedly<\/a> It was possible to accommodate his vegan diet. Richard Skiles, Latah County Sheriff <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsnationnow.com\/crime\/idaho-college-killings\/bryan-kohberger-to-appear-in-idaho-court-for-first-time\/\">Submitted<\/a>\u00a0NewsNation that he hasn\u2019t heard of anything out of the ordinary when it comes to the suspect\u2019s behavior in jail. He did say, however, that jail officials are trying to accommodate the suspect\u2019s vegan diet, \u201cbut we are not going to buy new pots and pans or anything like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kaylee Goncalves (21), Ethan Chapin (20), Xana Kernodle (20), and Madison Mogen (21) are accused of murdering each other in Moscow, Idaho in November 2013. The suspect was arrested last week according to court records.<\/p>\n<p>According to those records, Dylan Mortensen was one of the survivors. She said she had opened her door several times following hearing noises upstairs. On the third occasion, she saw a man in black clothes and a mask covering his nose and mouth coming towards her. She said the man was 5\u201910\u201d or taller, athletically built but not muscular, with bushy eyebrows. She claimed that the man passed her while she was standing in a. \u201cfrozen shock phase.\u201d She claimed that he left the house and she locked her bedroom.<\/p>\n<p>Police traced the suspect&#8217;s location to a white Hyundai Elantra, a cell telephone and to the exact spot where the crime occurred on the day it took place.
