Fact-checking the president, 2024 candidates, others.&#8221;<\/em> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Who said it?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale, describing himself on his\u00a0Twitter <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ddale8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Profil<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why it is important<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>If not us, who will professional fact-check professional fact-checkers?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Where is Daniel Dale? Is he still working at CNN? He doesn&#8217;t. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/profiles\/daniel-dale\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">written<\/a> a fact check since Dec. 15, when he investigated a Republican congressman&#8221;s tweet about pedophilia.\u00a0It wouldn&#8221;t be the first time Dale went <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/media\/daniel-dale-missing-person\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">missing<\/a> during the Biden administration. He might be &#8220;on vacation,&#8221; or he might have been fired by new CNN boss <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/culture\/2022-man-of-the-year-chris-licht\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chris Licht<\/a>, whose ruthless determiniation to rid the network of <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/media\/another-partisan-hack-just-lost-his-job-at-cnn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">liberal hacks<\/a> made him a <em>Washington<\/em> <em>Free Beacon<\/em> Man of the Year in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Dale and other professional fact-checkers exist for two reasons: 1) so that Democratic politicians can cite their &#8220;work&#8221; in attack ads against their Republican opponents and 2) because liberal psychopaths need something to print out and bring to the table at Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>A more accurate description of Dale&#8221;s duties would read something like &#8220;Fact-checking Republicans, Donald Trump, others.&#8221; It&#8221;s possible Dale is making a political point by implying Trump is still the duly elected president, but we don&#8221;t think that&#8221;s very likely because Dale is a liberal hack who works for CNN.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8221;s true that President Joe Biden is occasionally among the &#8220;others&#8221; Dale decides to fact-check\u2014about as often as he investigates &#8220;conservative tweeters&#8221; or &#8220;right-wing circles&#8221; or Justin Y. O&#8221;Donnell, the &#8220;anarcho-nihilist&#8221; bodybuilder.\u00a0Dale&#8221;s most\u00a0recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/profiles\/daniel-dale\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">articles<\/a> for CNN suggest &#8220;fact-checking the president&#8221; is not a top priority.
