They were located in a locked garage right next to his Corvette.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Sauber, president&#8217;s special counsel, stated in a statement, \u201call but one of these documents were found in storage space in the President\u2019s Wilmington residence garage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sauber said that another document was found. \u201cdiscovered among stored materials in an adjacent room.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At a Thursday press conference, Peter Doocy, Fox News White House correspondent, pressed Biden on the subject.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cClassified material next to your Corvette?\u201d Doocy was asked. \u201cWhat were you thinking?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet me, I\u2019m going to get a chance to speak on all this, God willing soon, but as I said earlier this week, people and, by the way my Corvette\u2019s in a locked garage, OK?\u201d Biden responded. \u201cSo it\u2019s not like they\u2019re sitting out in the street.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden answered Doocy&#8217;s question about whether the classified documents were kept in a locked garage. \u201cYes, as well as my Corvette.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut as I said earlier this week, people know, I take classified documents and classified material seriously,\u201d Biden said. \u201cI also said we\u2019re cooperating fully and completely with the Justice Department\u2019s review.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs part of that process, my lawyer has reviewed other places where documents from my time as vice president were stored and they finished the review last night,\u201d Biden continued. \u201cThey discovered a small number of documents with classified markings in storage areas, and file cabinets in my home and in my personal library.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden stated that the Department of Justice was immediately contacted as was the case for the first set of documents at Penn Biden Center.
