Gutmann is well-known for having close business and financial ties with the Chinese Communist Party. Gutmann was President of the University of Pennsylvania, 2004 to 2022 when she was elected Ambassador to Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Gutmann\u2019s nomination for the role \u2013 which she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.eu\/article\/amy-gutmann-political-philosopher-joe-biden-us-germany-ambassador\/\">There was<\/a> No \u201cprofessional expertise\u201d for according to Politico \u2013 came after she was identified as blocking investigations into tens of millions of dollars from anonymous Chinese donors flowing into the Ivy League <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/biden-upenn-president-amy-gutmann-ambassador-china-disclosures\">university<\/a>. She, so course, would also love to see your father in law too! Do you think he might stop by? Or come?
