New York University studies support the admission. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyu.edu\/about\/news-publications\/news\/2023\/january\/exposure-to-russian-twitter-campaigns-in-2016-presidential-race-.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Find it<\/a> \u201cthere was no relationship between exposure to the Russian foreign influence campaign and changes in attitudes, polarization, or voting behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Media treatment of the non-story followed a predictable, three-step process that\u2019s become the propaganda press\u2019s MO: Spread a false claim, control the narrative while crushing dissent with bogus \u201cfact checks,\u201d After the news cycle achieves its intended purpose, they will only admit the truth. <\/p>\n<p> The Russian Bots Story &#8211; How it Followed Playbook <\/p>\n<p>Robby Mook was the campaign manager for then-Clinton in 2016. <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/18\/spygate-101-a-primer-on-the-russia-collusion-hoaxs-years-long-plot-to-take-down-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">launched<\/a> The conspiracy theory was that Trump, then-candidate, was in collusion with Russia to steal the 2016 election. The Clinton campaign commissioned one dossier of bunk allegations. Later, the entire media establishment and a politicized intelligence agency were running the Russia collusion hoax. <\/p>\n<p>One of many conspiracy theories was that Russia was trying to influence American voters through social media. This included armies of Russian soldiers. \u201cbot\u201d accounts. Joy Pullmann, my co-worker, has done it. <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/01\/09\/what-spygate-tells-us-about-the-google-facebook-and-twitter-files\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Not noted<\/a>This claim was made by U.S. intelligence agencies with an \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/335885580\/Unclassified-version-of-intelligence-report-on-Russian-hacking-during-the-2016-election#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">intelligence community assessment<\/a>\u201d January 6, 2017 \u201csigned off publicly by the FBI, National Security Agency, and CIA concluding that Trump\u2019s election was boosted by Russian social media content farms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Regime media repeated the same narrative before and again after that assessment that was later proven to be false.<\/p>\n<p><a Russia Wins an Election\u201d (spoiler: \u201cthe Kremlin\u2019s troll army swarmed the web to spread disinformation and undermine trust in the electoral system,\u201d The piece states that December 2016 is the date.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/alltechconsidered\/2017\/04\/03\/522503844\/how-russian-twitter-bots-pumped-out-fake-news-during-the-2016-election\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2017\/09\/07\/us\/politics\/russia-facebook-twitter-election.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New York Times<\/a>: \u201cThe Fake Americans Russia Created to Influence the Election,\u201d September 2017.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.motherjones.com\/politics\/2017\/10\/twitter-bots-distorted-the-2016-election-including-many-controlled-by-russia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mother Jones<\/a>: \u201cTwitter Bots Distorted the 2016 Election \u2014 Including Many Likely From Russia,\u201d October 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cTwitter Files\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mtaibbi\/status\/1610372352872783872\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">revealed<\/a> just weeks ago that media pressure on this story, combined with threats from elected Democrats, were successful in getting Twitter to obey U.S. intelligence agency requests for information suppression, even though Twitter executives couldn\u2019t find any evidence of coordinated Russian disinformation campaigns on their platform.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">31.Twitter was soon settled on its future positions.<\/p>\n<p>Publicly, it removed the content \u201cat
