Katie Hobbs (D), proposes a $40 million taxpayer-funded scholarship program that will help illegal aliens attend state colleges and universities.<\/p>\n<p>In her inaugural <a href=\"https:\/\/azgovernor.gov\/office-arizona-governor\/news\/2023\/01\/inaugural-state-state-address-governor-hobbs-commits-building\">Address<\/a>, Hobbs vowed to expand the Arizona Promise Scholarship Program \u2014 which helps low-income students pay tuition and fees to attend universities \u2014 while creating the \u201cPromise for DREAMers Scholarship Program\u201d That will. \u201ccover all students, regardless of immigration status, who attend a public university.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">In effect, Hobbs\u2019 initiative would spend $40 million to help funnel illegal aliens into limited spots at state universities and colleges. An estimated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alientoaz.org\/new-blog\/2023\/1\/9\/alientos-statement-on-governor-katie-hobbs-support-for-dreamers-1\">2,000<\/a> The initiative would be beneficial to illegal aliens every school year.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>This move follows the approval of Arizona voters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/11\/15\/arizona-voters-approve-gop-led-law-giving-in-state-tuition-illegal-aliens\/\">Approved<\/a> A Republican-led law giving in-state tuition for illegal aliens. This vote reversed a 2006 ban on in-state tuition to illegal aliens.<\/p>\n<p>American students in Arizona face a steep college tuition cost. While the average tuition in Arizona is approximately $4,500, that figure can go up to more than $6,000 for students who live outside of the state. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.collegetuitioncompare.com\/state\/arizona\/\">$20,000<\/a> When books, supplies, room and board are included.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">American students will find graduate programs in Arizona more expensive than those offered elsewhere. Average in-state cost is more than $27,000.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The United States&#8217; university systems rely on a multi-billion dollar pipeline of international students to help them attract thousands of illegal aliens. These university systems have generated about\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fwd.us\/news\/international-students\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">$9 billion<\/a>\u00a0In revenue annually through tuition and fees from international students<\/p>\n<p>Particularly, around\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.presidentsalliance.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/2022-11-07-DACA-Stats-for-Info-Sheet.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">182,000 illegal<\/a>\u00a0aliens of the more than 400,000 illegal aliens enrolled in United States universities and colleges are eligible or enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program \u2014 making up a significant portion of university systems\u2019 billions in revenue from their foreign student pipeline.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>John Binder is a reporter at Breitbart News.
