Azar II, that he previously renewed on April 21, 2020, July 23, 2020, October 2, 2020, and January 7, 2021, and that I renewed on April 15, 2021, July 19, 2021, October 15, 2021, January 14, 2022, April 12, 2022, July 15, 2022, and October 13, 2022, that a public health emergency exists and has existed since January 27, 2020, nationwide.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>CNBC was told by a spokesperson for HHS that states would receive a notice within 60 days \u201cbefore any possible termination or expiration.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Social media users urged the new Congress not to ignore the interminable emergency.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">This is an opportunity to allow the new Congress to reclaim the power it gave the executive in an emergency, powers that are only used to justify the imposition policies that the legislature rejected.
