Aidala \u2014 of Aidala,\u00a0Bertuna &#038; Kamins \u2014 said that despite being found guilty and sentenced to 23 years in New York, his client had never once wavered from maintaining his innocence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe day I met Harvey in 2019 he told me, \u2018I was innocent.\u2019 Despite all the negative things that have happened from 2019 to today, the one thing that hasn\u2019t been diminished is his powerful defense of himself and his proclamations of innocence. He has not given up,\u201d Aidala stated in a <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/01\/10\/harvey-weinstein-appeals-citing-trials-carnival-atmosphere\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Statement<\/a> Page Six is an entertainment outlet.<\/p>\n<p>Aidala continued by stating that Weinstein actively participated in the appeals process.
