It featured several Paul Rudds.<\/p>\n<p>Rudd\u2019s Scott Lang strikes a deal with the multiverse-hopping villain Kang the Conqueror, played by <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/jonathan-majors\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jonathan-majors\" data-tag=\"jonathan-majors\">Jonathan Majors<\/a>As he tries to recover the five years that he lost during his blip in, \u201cAvengers: Endgame.\u201d Cassie Lang Lang, Scott&#8217;s daughter, was born during this time. Scott is willing to sacrifice himself for Cassie. And when his agreement with Kang backfires, he\u2019s even willing to sacrifice himself. Plus, we get some <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/paul-rudd\/\" id=\"auto-tag_paul-rudd\" data-tag=\"paul-rudd\">Paul Rudd<\/a>Multiverse mayhem when two identical Ant-Mans meet, and more run wild in the Quantum Realm.<\/p>\n<p>The third installment of director Peyton Reed\u2019s \u201cAnt-Man\u201d trilogy also brings back Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, aka Wasp, inventor Hank Pym and Hope van Dyne, who was rescued from the Quantum Realm in 2018\u2019s \u201cAnt-Man and the Wasp.\u201d Kathryn Newton has also joined the super-family with Cassie, who has worn a purple Ant-Man costume herself.<\/p>\n<p>The trailer shows Kang in his brutality, which was last seen as He Who Resists in the Season 1 finale. \u201cLoki\u201d On Disney+. He Who Remains, a variant of Kang from an alternate timeline, was killed by Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) in the show\u2019s finale, which unleashed waves of multiversal chaos and the wrath of Kang, a universe-traversing threat.<\/p>\n<p>The purple-and-green-suited villain will be a big player in the current Multiverse Saga of the MCU. The 2022 San Diego Comic-Con will feature this villain. <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/marvel\/\" id=\"auto-tag_marvel\" data-tag=\"marvel\">Marvel<\/a> Studios chief <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2022\/film\/news\/marvel-studios-phase-5-phase-6-multiverse-saga-comic-con-1235323893\/\">Kevin Feige revealed<\/a> the upcoming slate of films for the MCU\u2019s Phases 5 and 6, which end with two \u201cAvengers\u201d Films in 2025 &#038; 2026 The first is titled \u201cAvengers: The Kang Dynasty,\u201d Will be helmed and directed by \u201cShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings\u201d Director Destin Daniel Cretton. While nothing official is known about the film, the team-up movie will be key to the saga\u2019s finale and likely feature Majors\u2019 titular villain once again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania\u201d It will hit theaters on February 17, 2023.
