His two children were at risk of drowning in the sea. He saved them both, according to reports. According to reports, both children were uninjured.<\/p>\n<p>Otis Kirk, WREG Memphis reporter, reported that Hillis was told to him. \u201cbattling and definitely needs as many prayers as he can get.\u201d He also reported that the former Razorback\u2019s kidneys and lungs were the primary reasons why he was still in the hospital. WREG\u2019s report mentioned that Hillis\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/sports\/peyton-hillis-still-dealing-kidney-issues-saving-kids-drowning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">kidneys<\/a> are the primary concern.<\/p>\n<p>Kirk didn&#8217;t reveal the identity of Hillis or who gave it to him.<\/p>\n<p>He played college and high school football in the state before starting an NFL career, which took him to New York, Cleveland, Denver and Kansas City.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-outkick wp-block-embed-outkick\"><\/figure>\n<p>Hillis was part of a trio of running backs at Arkansas that included himself, Darren McFadden and Felix Jones.<\/p>\n<p>The report on Hillis\u2019 condition comes just as a prayer vigil was being held in his native Arkansas.<\/p>\n<p>Hillis volunteers as an assistant for his son\u2019s football team. Bryant Davis, the head coach of the program, spoke at the vigil to KSFM TV.
