Transgender activists are the bad guys. These parents have created a false narrative calling them suicide-inducing bigots.<\/p>\n<p>The explosion of transgender ideology and identity ought to be the subject of a critical, well-funded documentary series \u2014 the sort that wins awards at Sundance, is prominently featured on Netflix, and is praised in the legacy corporate media. Matt Walsh\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/videos\/what-is-a-woman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">What is a Woman?<\/a>\u201d The most well-known of these films is These efforts are now combined by \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/ondemand\/deadname\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dead Name<\/a>,\u201d Taylor Reece&#8217;s new documentary features parents telling their story.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDead Name\u201d The film captures the confusion and pain of parents trying protect their children against self-harm caused by an ideology that encourages them to hate their bodies. This film is available for rent or purchase on Vimeo. It is professional and has footage that is difficult to ignore.<\/p>\n<p> The shared story of parents who want the very best for their kids <\/p>\n<p>The film features three parents, Amy and Helen, who were in very different situations when their children adopted a trans identity. Amy\u2019s daughter was 15 when she began to identify as transgender, Helen\u2019s son was 4, and Bill\u2019s son was entering college. However, there were commonalities between them. Each parent saw the claim that their child is transgender as an unnatural result of outside influences. Each parent also faced opposition from their children\u2019s therapists, all of whom unquestioningly affirmed their kids\u2019 new transgender identities.<\/p>\n<p>The greatest commonality was the shared suffering of the parents. These parents, contrary to what trans activists claim, love their children. They oppose transition because it is best for them. The genius of \u201cDead Name\u201d The trick is to let them talk. It becomes difficult to view the film because the parents&#8217; anguished love for their children is so obvious that it is painful to the viewer.<\/p>\n<p>Because it is not a happy film, this is a film that is necessary. Only one of these stories can be described as a happy end; all others end in uncertainty, or worse.<\/p>\n<p> Highlighting Trans Movement\u2019s Lies <\/p>\n<p>Yet, there is hope amid suffering. Partly because sharing these stories may help to discredit the false ideology which led to it. These cases also highlight the many lies and abuses committed by the transgender movement.<\/p>\n<p>Amy\u2019s daughter illustrates the surge of adolescent girls who have suddenly declared themselves to be trans. In Amy\u2019s view, this was not something \u201corganic\u201d It was her daughter. \u201cjust came from somewhere and swept her away.\u201d Amy\u2019s daughter deployed the familiar threat of suicide, and she was given hormones behind her mother\u2019s back after a single tele-med appointment with Planned Parenthood.
