It&#8217;s available full-time every other month. The course&#8217;s two directors are both affiliated with Mass General. One of them is an activist advocating for minor transgender surgeries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis elective is a four-week multidisciplinary clinical-and-scholarly experience that trains students to provide high-quality, culturally responsive care for patients with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and sex development,\u201d The <a href=\"https:\/\/medcatalog.harvard.edu\/coursedetails.aspx?cid=IND510M.3&#038;did=250&#038;yid=2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">course description<\/a> reads. \u201cMany of these patients identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex or asexual (LGBTQIA+). Clinical exposure and education will focus on serving gender and sexual minority people across the lifespan, from infants to older adults.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStudents will work with multidisciplinary teams in a variety of clinical settings and specialties, including but not limited to Adolescent Medicine, Endocrinology, Family Practice, Infectious Disease, OBGYN, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Psychology, Primary Medical Care, and Plastic Surgery,\u201d It adds. \u201cThey will be immersed in clinical practices committed to promoting health and resiliency for gender and sexual minority communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This course is not only offered by Harvard Medical School or Massachusetts General, but also offers other options. \u201cpartnerships and clinical experiences\u201d At <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/boston-childrens-hospital-offering-gender-affirming-hysterectomies-to-kids-who-cant-even-drink-legally\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boston Children\u2019s Hospital<\/a>According to reports,, has offered several trans \u201caffirming\u201d F\u00fcr minors.<\/p>\n<p>In a video released by BCH, a doctor from BCH stated that transgender patients knew their identities. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/boston-childrens-hospital-under-fire-again-for-video-claiming-young-kids-know-their-gender-seemingly-from-the-womb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gender identity<\/a> \u201cas early as seemingly from the womb.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey will usually express their gender identity as very young children, some as soon as they can talk, they might say phrases such as \u2018I\u2019m a girl\u2019 or \u2018I\u2019m a boy\u2019 or \u2018I\u2019m going to be a woman\u2019 or \u2018I\u2019m going to be a mom,\u2019\u201d Dr. Kerry McGregor, a psychologist at BCH\u2019s Gender Multispecialty Service clinic, said in the video. \u201cKids know very, very early.\u201d McGregor stated that patients can be seen as young as 2 years old at the clinic.<\/p>\n<p>Students can also work with the Harvard-affiliated Fenway Health Center, Boston Health Care for the Homeless and other LGBT-serving health-care organizations.<\/p>\n<p>According to The College Fix, Alberto Puig and Alex Keuroghlian, are the directors of the course. They work for Massachusetts General. Keuroghlian is also a psychiatrist with the Fenway Health Center. He is also a radical LGBT activist. \u201cgender-affirming\u201d Health care for children.
