And in the days since, police have executed an exhaustive search in the area near her home in Cohasset, a suburb of Boston \u2014 sending divers into a local pond and bringing in three K-9 teams to assist as well.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the course of the investigation, however, the missing realtor\u2019s husband Brian Walshe has apparently <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/01\/09\/brian-walshes-disturbing-search-history-revealed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">raised suspicions<\/a> with a number of actions he allegedly took around the time of his wife\u2019s disappearance.<\/p>\n<p>Several law enforcement sources told CNN that police shifted their focus from a potential missing persons investigation to a possible murder investigation after a search of Brian Walshe\u2019s computer history showed that he had been looking up information about how to \u201cdispose of a 115-pound woman\u2019s body\u201d How to dismember a body.<\/p>\n<p>Following that discovery, police began searching in dumpsters in Peabody \u2014 about an hour away from Cohasset by car \u2014 and near Brian Walshe\u2019s mother\u2019s home in nearby Swampscott after they learned that he had visited his mother after his wife had disappeared.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutor Lynn Beland <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/01\/09\/us\/ana-walshe-missing-massachusetts-mother-update-monday\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Concerns raised<\/a> Brian Walshe intentionally misled investigators.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder\" data-uri=\"archive.cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/paragraph_759C73E8-7E97-1E01-2AD7-9836C3604176@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-analytics-observe=\"off\">\u201cThese various statements caused a delay in the investigation to the point that during the time frame when he didn\u2019t report his wife and gave various statements, that allowed him time to either clean up evidence, dispose of evidence, and causing a delay,\u201d Beland stated. \u201cThe intentional, willful and direct responses to questions about his whereabouts on the days of Sunday, January 1, 2023, and Monday, January 2, 2023, were a clear attempt to mislead and delay investigators.
