Disappointed Democrats maintained that Russia used bots and trolls on social media to help Trump win. <\/span><span>But, <\/span><i><span>Washington Post\u2019s<\/span><\/i><span> Tim Starks <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2023\/01\/09\/russian-trolls-twitter-had-little-influence-2016-voters\/\" class=\"stylish-link\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span> Monday, emphasis added \u201cRussian influence operations on Twitter in the 2016 presidential election reached relatively few users, most of whom were highly partisan Republicans, and the <\/span><b>Russian accounts had no measurable impact in changing minds or influencing voter behavior, according to a study out this morning.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SpeakerPelosi?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" class=\"stylish-link\">@SpeakerPelosi<\/a> I agree with:<\/p>\n<p>To repair the damage done to our national security, Congress must establish an investigative body similar to the 9\/11 Commission to investigate Trump&#8217;s connections to Putin.
