The person conducting the interview is Martha, a \u201cKinderreporterin,\u201d or \u201cchild reporter\u201d for the German TV network <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdf.de\/kinder\/logo\/kinderreporterin-martha-trifft-kate-winslet-100.html\">ZDF<\/a>. Their interaction was quickly picked up by U.S. outlets as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Titanic star replies, \u201cThis is your first time doing it? OK, well, guess what. When we do this interview, it\u2019s going to be the most amazing interview ever. And do you know why? Because we\u2019ve decided that it is going to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, we\u2019ve decided right now, me and you, this is going to be a really fantastic interview,\u201d Winslet continues. \u201cAnd you can ask me anything that you want and you don\u2019t have to be scared, everything is going to be amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The reporter agrees with a nervous giggle, prompting Winslet to encourage her by saying again, \u201cYou got this. In December, she described herself as looking like a \u201chot mess\u201d while attempting to juggle her busy career and being a mom.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are a lot of myths, I think, around perfection and actresses looking perfect all the time and, and how real that is or that isn\u2019t,\u201d she said in part during an interview with BBC\u2019s \u201cWoman\u2019s Hour\u201d podcast. \u201cAnd I do care about being real and telling stories that are truthful and come from a place of integrity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s certainly something that I feel is a shift in this time in my life,\u201d Winslet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/like-a-hot-mess-kate-winslet-reflects-on-being-47-while-juggling-motherhood-and-a-career\">continued<\/a>, as The Daily Wire previously reported. \u201cI care passionately about highlighting issues that need to be talked about that perhaps people find hard to talk about.
