Federal officials provided another example Monday to the public. <\/p>\n<p>Attorney General Merrick Garland ordered the U.S. attorney in Chicago to investigate nearly a dozen documents marked classified from President Joe Biden\u2019s time as vice president found at a private office, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/biden-center-classified-documents\/?ftag=CNM-00-10aab7e&#038;linkId=196611442\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According <\/a>CBS News. The documents were allegedly marked <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/01\/09\/politics\/joe-biden-classified-documents-upenn\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Top secret<\/a>The bodies of the deceased were discovered in a place Biden used to be an honorary Professor at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement (Washington). The University of Pennsylvania created the center.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe material was identified by personal attorneys for Mr. Biden on Nov. 2, just before the midterm elections, Richard Sauber, special counsel to the president confirmed,\u201d CBS reported. \u201cThe documents were discovered when Mr. Biden\u2019s personal attorneys \u2018were packing files housed in a locked closet to prepare to vacate office space at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There were no federal agents raiding the president\u2019s personal offices, no dramatic press conferences announcing the prosecution of an enemy of the state, and certainly no warrants granting law enforcement virtually <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/12\/breaking-fbi-raid-warrant-demanded-seizure-of-literally-any-record-trump-ever-saw-during-4-year-presidential-term\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Unlimitable scope<\/a> To seize whatever they desired. <\/p>\n<p>It is not clear what documents Biden might have kept in an old workspace&#8217;s closet. These documents may not be necessary, given Washington&#8217;s chronic overclassification issue. You can force a federal agency through the Freedom of Information Act to release public documents. How the documents were discovered, however, shows Americans all they need to know about the political nature of the nation\u2019s premier law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n<p>When former President Donald Trump was suspected of harboring classified papers in his Florida residence at Mar-a-Lago, Garland sent more than 30 plainclothes FBI agents to raid the 128-room complex as the administration\u2019s personal stormtroopers. The attorney general\u2019s foot soldiers even <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/08\/09\/fbi-even-searched-melanias-wardrobe-in-trump-raid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rifled <\/a>through Melania Trump\u2019s wardrobe operating under a warrant that allowed agents to confiscate any record her husband may have come into contact with when president.
