Maxwell teaches about \u201cwomen\u2019s empowerment and the need to \u2018maintain high moral standards,\u2019\u201d The Daily Mail reported.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell is reportedly conducting the classes in both English and Spanish as a Colombian inmate translates for her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s less about balancing books on heads and being ladylike, and more about having confidence in yourself \u2013 how to behave and talk in a professional manner, the secrets of success in the corporate world, that sort of thing,\u201d a source told The Daily Mail. \u201cMiss Maxwell\u2019s message is, so what if you\u2019re a woman and a convicted felon, you\u2019re not a second class citizen. She\u2019s an unlikely role model but she\u2019s very passionate about this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell was convicted in December 2021 on five federal sex trafficking charges, including conspiracy to entice individuals under 17 to travel in interstate commerce with intent to engage in \u201cillegal sexual activity,\u201d conspiracy to transport individuals under 17 to travel in interstate commerce with intent to engage in \u201cillegal sexual activity,\u201d transportation of an individual under 17 with intent to engage in \u201cillegal sexual activity,\u201d conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of individuals under 18, and sex trafficking of an individual under 18.<\/p>\n<p>One of Maxwell\u2019s accusers, a woman testifying under the pseudonym\u00a0 \u201cJane,\u201d testified that Epstein and Maxwell abused her together when she was just 14 years old. Maxwell took her on shopping trips, asked her about her life, and discussed sexual topics with her, \u201cJane\u201d said.<\/p>\n<p>Three other women who say they were groomed or abused by Maxwell also testified. A woman testifying under the name \u201cKate\u201d told the court that Maxwell set up meetings for girls to give Epstein sexualized massages.
