The It is the responsibility of each college to determine if a complaint is serious or credible enough to warrant further investigation. Complaints can be deemed frivolous or vexatious and should be discarded. When If the college decides that it wants to move forward, this is a serious decision, which is basically equivalent to a lawsuit. The <a href=\"https:\/\/nationalpost.com\/news\/ontario-college-of-psychologists-jordan-peterson-social-media\">Ontario College of Psychologists<\/a> In fact, such circumstances warrant legal counsel.<\/p>\n<p>The Ontario College Of Psychologists Since my rise in public prominence six years back, a lot of these lawsuits have been filed against me (although none in the 20-plus years that I worked as a psychologist). These As of late, they have multiplied and now number more that a dozen. This may seem like a lot (and \u201cwhere there\u2019s smoke there\u2019s fire,\u201d People think so. I will however point out that it is hard to communicate with as many people as possible and to say anything of substance without at least a few people being offended.<\/p>\n<p>For my crimes, I have been sentenced to a course of mandatory social media communication training with the college\u2019s so-called experts (although social media communication training is not a scientific and certainly not a clinical specialty of any standing). I will do this at my expense (some hundreds of Dollars per hour) and for a time that is to determined only by those retraining and profiting from it. How How will this be determined? When those very re-educators \u2014 those experts \u2014 have convinced themselves that I have learned my lesson and will behave properly in the future.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It&#8217;s There are worse things than you think Canada <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@elonmusk<\/a>. Regulated Colleges and universities are now making professionals fearful. This It means they are unable to tell the truth. I will then admit that I was unprofessional in my conduct and have that noted publicly, even though the college insists that it is not necessary for me to admit to any wrongdoing. If I refuse \u2014 and I have (of course) refused \u2014 the next step is a mandatory public disciplinary session\/inquiry and the possible suspension of my clinical licence (all of which will be also announced publicly).<\/p>\n<p>I should also note that the college&#8217;s actions already taken are the second-most serious response to my transgressions. I have been classified as a repeat offender with high potential for repetition.<\/p>\n<p>What What have I done that is so unprofessional that it poses a threat not only to my potential clients, but also to the public? It It&#8217;s difficult to tell the difference with some of the complaints. One involved the submission of the entire transcript from a three-hour discussion about the Joe Rogan Podcast), but here are some examples to give you some concern. Canadians People who care about freedom of belief, conscience, and speech<\/p>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">I retweeted a comment by Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre Concerning the excessive severity of the COVID lockdowns\n<li aria-level=\"1\">I criticized Prime Minister Justin Trudeau;\n<li aria-level=\"1\">I criticized Justin Trudeau\u2019s former chief of staff, Gerald Butts;\n<li aria-level=\"1\">I criticized an Ottawa City councillor;\n<li aria-level=\"1\">I made a joke of the prime minister New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern.\n<p>I did everything. \u201cdisrespectfully,\u201d By the way, in a \u201chorrific\u201d How to spread \u201cmisinformation\u201dThat was \u201cthreatening\u201d And \u201charassing\u201dThat was \u201cembarrassing to the profession.\u201d I am also (these offenses are separate) sexist, transphobic and incapable of the requisite body positivity with regard to morbid obesity. And, most importantly, a climate denialist.<\/p>\n<p>Every single one of these accusations (and now accepted evidence of my professional misconduct) is independent of my clinical practice \u2014 which, by the way, has been suspended since 2017, when my rising notoriety or fame made continuing as a private therapist practically and ethically impossible. Every single accusation is not only independent of my clinical practice, but explicitly political \u2014 and not only that: unidirectionally explicitly political.
