The average NewsGuard score for \u201cleft\u201d And \u201clean left\u201d outlets \u2014 which included leftist outlets like <em>USA Today<\/em> \u2014 was a \u201cgreen shield\u201d Rating of 91\/100 <em>USA Today <\/em>He was involved in a scandal. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/nb\/kevin-tober\/2022\/06\/16\/usa-today-reporter-resigns-after-getting-caught-fabricating-23\">former<\/a> reporter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/staff\/4869305001\/gabriela-miranda\/\">Gabriela Miranda<\/a> It was found to have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/nb\/kevin-tober\/2022\/06\/16\/usa-today-reporter-resigns-after-getting-caught-fabricating-23\">fabricated sources.<\/a> While The average rating for \u201cright\u201d And \u201clean right\u201d outlets \u2014 which included Fox News, The Daily Wire And <em>New York Post <\/em>\u2014 was a low 66\/100.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s a 25-point disparity.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This Just over a year after MRC, the study was published. However, NewsGuard still scores an excellent 100\/100. The Liberal Poynter Institute <a href=\"https:\/\/www.poynter.org\/fact-checking\/media-literacy\/2021\/should-you-trust-media-bias-charts\/\">cited<\/a> Two media experts shared their expertise \u201cpraise for the stated methods for rating bias\u201d AllSides Poynter It is the same <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/free-speech\/corinne-weaver\/2019\/05\/02\/journalism-institute-poynter-tries-blacklist-29\">institution that attempted<\/a> to blacklist 29 conservative outlets for 2019 and is funded in part by prominent liberal billionaires. In The score was actually only updated to \u201c92.5\u201d Four days after the release of the first study, another one was published.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Caller\u2019s score had since been updated to a perfect 100\/100 score as of Dec. 14, 2022 but the low overall average score NewsGuard dolls were distributed to conservative news organisations writ-large (66%) &#8211; the exact same as last year.<\/p>\n<p>The Results of MRC Free Speech America\u2019s latest analysis are especially damning in light of NewsGuard\u2019s latest expansion into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/free-speech\/catherine-salgado\/2022\/12\/06\/biased-newsguard-gives-tucker-010-credibility-cnns\">rating TV shows<\/a>. <em>Variety <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2022\/tv\/news\/tv-news-nutrition-labels-newsguard-cnn-fox-news-1235446372\/\">reported<\/a> Dec. 1 NewsGuard\u2019s ratings of \u201c140 cable, streaming, and network television shows and networks will be available to advertising agencies, marketers, and others starting January 2, 2023.\u201d NewsGuard\u2019s TV show ratings are structured based on a 0-10 scale as opposed to the 0\/100 scale used for websites. NewsGuard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/610908775\/Fox-News-Tucker-Carlson-Tonight\">scored<\/a> Fox News\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/shows\/tucker-carlson-tonight\"><em>Tucker Carlson Tonight<\/em><\/a> Rock bottom, giving the show an 0\/10. NewsGuard claimed <a href=\"http:\/\/tuckercarlson.com\/\">Carlson\u2019s<\/a> Show \u201cregularly advances false, misleading, and unsubstantiated claims on topics of importance such as COVID-19 and U.S. and international politics<em>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>By compArison, CNN\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/audio\/podcasts\/inside-politics\">Inside Politics<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/610908467\/CNN-Inside-Politics\">received<\/a> a NewsGuard rating of 9\/10 because host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/profiles\/john-king-profile\">John King<\/a> Supposedly, it provides \u201cmultiple viewpoints in his reports, mostly through his own summary of dissenting views on a story, and interviews with prominent Republican lawmakers, pollsters, and consultants.\u201d But King This is blatantly biased. For example, King He and his panel recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/nb\/curtis-houck\/2022\/11\/28\/cnn-implies-republicans-are-party-anti-semitism-hate-crimes\">used<\/a> Trump\u2019s dining with Ye (formerly known by \u201cKanye West\u201d) and Ye\u2019s guest, white supremacist Nick Fuentes, and the GOP\u2019s quiet response to imply that Republicans Anti-Semitic party that encourages hate crimes.
