Holmes\u2019s estranged wife, Marilee Fiebig, is speaking out for the first time since his romantic relationship with his \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/good-morning-america\">Good Morning America<\/a>\u201d co-host Amy Robach started making headlines.<\/p>\n<p>Fiebig\u2019s divorce lawyer, Stephanie Lehman, released a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-11592417\/GMAs-T-J-Holmes-estranged-wife-Marilee-breaks-silence.html\">statement<\/a> This week, the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the holiday season and in light of the challenging times, Marilee\u2019s sole focus has remained on the overall best interest of her 9-year-old daughter,\u201d Fiebig was notified by her attorney.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo that end T.J.\u2019s lawyer and I have been working together to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously and as amicably as possible. Notwithstanding, we continue to be disappointed by T.J\u2019s lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity toward Marilee and the party\u2019s daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The statement ended with a message to supporters: Feibig \u201chas been touched by the outpouring of support\u201d Looking forward \u201cto a new beginning in this new year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Holmes and Fiebig were married for 12 years. Robach and Andrew Shue, a former Melrose Place actor, have been married for 12 years.<\/p>\n<p>The scandal began in November when reports revealed an affair between the \u201cGMA\u201d co-hosts. The situation became so severe that they were fired.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey had been close friends for many years but this relationship started over the past few months, after they separated from their respective spouses in August. They had not told anyone, even at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/abc-news\">ABC<\/a>, because they were waiting until they both were divorced,\u201d A representative for Holmes and Robach stated that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/12\/05\/business\/media\/abc-news-holmes-robach.html\">per<\/a> The New York Times.<\/p>\n<p>Holmes and Robach have been spotted together many times since then, and appear to still be close. They were last captured on camera kissing on 30 December. <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tv\/amy-robach-t-j-holmes-step-out-together-miami\/\">seen<\/a> Visit a Miami convenience store with your partner.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The co-hosts laughed about the situation while they were still working and shortly after the news broke about their respective affairs. As The Daily Wire has previously reported <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/gma-co-anchors-both-married-canned-after-report-of-clandestine-affair\">reported<\/a>They made a few jokes on the show during the week that their relationship was revealed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, it\u2019s too bad it\u2019s Friday. It\u2019s been a great week,\u201d Robach laughed and replied to Holmes&#8217;s statement. \u201cIs it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just want this one to keep going and going and going,\u201d Holmes replied. \u201cJust enjoy it. Take it all in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpeak for yourself. I\u2019m excited about the weekend. And I\u2019m sure everyone else is, too,\u201d Robach said. \u201cWe all love our Fridays around here.
