This was used by the Biden administration as a justification for a politicized attack against concerned parents. He was not found guilty on Wednesday of trespassing.<\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement arrested Jon Tigges at a Loudoun school board meeting on June 22, 2021, after he tried expressing concerns about the school district\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/06\/23\/loudoun-county-man-arrested-at-school-board-meeting-declared-unlawful-assembly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cmoral decay.\u201d<\/a> A Virginia district judge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loudounnow.com\/news\/public_safety\/school-board-critic-to-appeal-trespass-conviction\/article_c81e6b3b-b102-5cb2-bc78-191236834c54.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">found Tigges guilty<\/a> In October 2021. Tigges was cleared by Loudoun Circuit Judge Douglas Fleming Jr.<\/p>\n<p>Fleming found that Tigges had a First Amendment right of attendance at the heated meeting. He also determined that the superintendent who closed down the official gathering last year had no right to do so. \u201cunlawful assembly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy thanks to God for justice,\u201d Tigges tweeted Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Tigges was among the more than\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/06\/23\/two-arrested-after-loudoun-county-school-board-shut-down-public-comment-over-opposition-to-indoctrination\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">250 people<\/a>\u00a0He had signed up for the Loudoun County Schools Board&#8217;s public comment section that summer night. He intended to voice opposition to the board\u2019s new transgender policy proposal, which mandated that employees use students\u2019 so-called \u201cpreferred pronouns\u201d They are the most preferred toilets, regardless of what sex they have.<\/p>\n<p>Tigges couldn&#8217;t speak until Brenda Sheridan (School Board Chair) called the meeting a halt. <a href=\"https:\/\/wtop.com\/loudoun-county\/2022\/12\/loudoun-co-school-board-fires-superintendent-scott-ziegler\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the now-recently fired<\/a> The gathering was declared annexed by Superintendent Scott Ziegler \u201cunlawful assembly.\u201d Ziegler directed the hundreds of protestors at the government school district to leave the building or risk arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Tigges refused permission to leave.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just felt led to realize that we could still speak,\u201d Tigges <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/06\/23\/loudoun-county-man-arrested-at-school-board-meeting-declared-unlawful-assembly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told The Federalist<\/a> Last year. \u201cIt\u2019s a public forum, a public room. It had been scheduled until seven o\u2019clock for people to speak. I stood up to encourage folks to stay and if they had something to say whether they were on the left or the right, didn\u2019t matter. They\u2019d be heard and we\u2019d respect one another and do so and so people started doing that without any amplification at all and you could hear them fine because it was a peaceful assembly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite Tigges\u2019 claim on the First Amendment, police officers handcuffed, arrested, and charged him with trespassing.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Two arrests made at Loudoun County&#8217;s Virginia school board meeting following it being declared an unlawful assembly. Parents were here to protest against critical-race theory and a refusal to leave. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/CriticalRaceTheory?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#CriticalRaceTheory<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/dsZDrqJ0Gp\">pic.twitter.com\/dsZDrqJ0Gp<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Gabriella Borter (@gabriellaborter) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/gabriellaborter\/status\/1407463741235642369?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 22, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tigges\u2019 arrest in June of 2021 <a href=\"https:\/\/thefdrlst.wpengine.com\/2021\/10\/07\/school-board-groups-gripes-about-parents-dont-justify-federal-domestic-terrorism-investigations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">was used <\/a>By the National School Boards Association, in collusion avec the Biden White House to justify the smearing parents concerned as \u201cdomestic terrorists\u201d Federal law enforcement officials required that the defendant be punished.<\/p>\n<p>The NSBA sent its famous complaint letter in September 2021. <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/01\/12\/biden-education-secretary-planting-nsba-letter-takes-a-page-from-russia-collusion-hoax-playbook\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">secretly solicited<\/a> Miguel Cardona Education Secretary to the Department of Justice.
