Last fiscal year saw 2.4 million encounters.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the Biden administration published a <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/gag-order-biden-admin-bars-border-officials-from-sharing-data-on-migrant-crisis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gag order<\/a> Without prior approval, border agents are prohibited from sharing information about immigration with media outlets.
