He said that he had a similar reaction after Rock&#8217;s death. Simpson said that he felt the same way. \u201cthat guy \u2014 f*** that guy [Smith] forever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd you know, what do you, what do you do with that guy?\u201d The host shared. \u201cLike, there\u2019s a lot of us, in the beginning, we were like, \u2018F*** that guy. F*** you forever.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I\u2019m like, \u2018No.\u2019 You know, now thinking about [it], I\u2019m like, that guy has to be forgiven,\u201d He concluded. \u201cLike, he clearly has deep remorse for what he\u2019s done. And he\u2019s also clearly living in a world where he was given nothing but adulation and praise for most of his life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd then all of a sudden he has this one, in many people\u2019s eyes, unforgivable moment where he does something just so f***ing stupid,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/terrifying-implications-joe-rogan-blasts-sfs-tremendously-insane-decision-to-allow-robots-to-kill-people\">Rogan<\/a> continued. \u201cBut it\u2019s not like he doesn\u2019t realize it. He\u2019s a human being. You just gotta forgive him, you know? And I think the real person who has to forgive him \u2014 if he wants to is Chris Rock.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bernthal agreed and said he was right, that it\u2019s for Rock to choose to forgive the \u201cMen In Black\u201d Star or not<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, and I don\u2019t know if Chris will,\u201d Rogan replied. \u201cI haven\u2019t even talked to Chris about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Smith was the host. \u201cjust a person that was in an impossible-to-understand scenario.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be a guy who\u2019s a child star, who goes from that to become one of the most beloved actors in the world \u2026 to this one thing where everybody f***ing hates you,\u201d Rogan shared. \u201cEverybody thinks you are a piece of s***. He\u2019s a human. You gotta forgive him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/joe-rogan-scores-number-one-spot-in-spotifys-podcasts-around-the-world-for-2022\">Rogan<\/a> Smith was previously ridiculed for sharing the fact that Smith had been \u201cno justification\u201d Rock was the comic that Rock slapped. \u201cdoing his f***ing job,\u201d As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/chris-rocks-doing-his-fing-job-joe-rogan-blasts-will-smith-after-he-assaulted-rock-at-oscars\">The Daily Wire<\/a> Previously reported.<\/p>\n<p>Smith has since apologized numerous times. The actor apologized via a statement in July. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jXrxDKwlA_s\">video<\/a> via social media. Smith claimed that he had reached Rock but was told by Rock that he wasn&#8217;t ready to talk to him.
