The disgraced entrepreneur\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/officials-charge-sam-bankman-fried-of-using-customer-funds-for-lavish-real-estate-and-large-political-donations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">extensive political connections<\/a> came to light in the weeks after his company\u2019s bankruptcy, including the $39 million he donated to Democrats ahead of the midterms and four <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/sam-bankman-fried-visited-biden-white-house-four-times-ahead-of-his-arrest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">meetings<\/a> He was granted the White House title along with Bruce Reed and Steve Richetti, who are both top White House officials.<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Pierre was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/press-briefings\/2023\/01\/03\/press-briefing-by-press-secretary-karine-jean-pierre-january-3-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">questioned<\/a> A reporter asked questions about the meetings. \u201cany sort of summary of what has been discussed\u201d During a Tuesday press briefing. She replied that officials were discussed \u201cpandemic prevention\u201d And \u201cgeneral information on the cryptocurrency industry\u201d With the former executive, he added that the administration supported new regulations regarding digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe White House regularly engages with officials from a range of industries and sectors, including leaders in business and labor and nonprofits,\u201d Jean-Pierre remarked.<\/p>\n<p>Bankman Fried was the second largest donor to the campaign that successfully placed President Joe Biden into the White House. Jean-Pierre was questioned by reporters last month about whether the administration thinks Democratic organizations should be. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/white-house-wont-answer-if-theyll-give-back-donations-from-accused-fraudster-sam-bankman-fried\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">return the funds<\/a> Donated by Bankman-Fried. She declined to answer the question, invoking Hatch Act which restricts federal employees from participating in certain political or campaign activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is still the case,\u201d Jean-Pierre stated Tuesday that he was aware of the issue when Jean-Pierre was pressed. \u201cI don\u2019t have anything to share or any change of my comments that I\u2019ve made before on this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gabriel Bankman Fried, the younger brother to Bankman Fried and head of Guarding Against Pandemics received a rendezvous and also attended one of the meetings. Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried, the brothers\u2019 parents, are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/mother-of-disgraced-crypto-billionaire-sam-bankman-fried-is-a-democratic-fundraiser-who-once-wrote-essay-blasting-personal-responsibility\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">well-connected<\/a> Within Democratic circles.<\/p>\n<p>Senate Majority PAC was created to elect Democrats into the upper chamber of Congress. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/democrats-say-they-will-return-3-million-donated-by-ftx-executives\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> Bankman-Fried and Nishad Sing, who were the head of engineering at FTX, have plans to return $3 Million. As bankruptcy lawyers attempt to recoup funds for customers and investors, the Democratic National Committee as well as the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSC) and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee made similar commitments.<\/p>\n<p>Among the beneficiaries of Bankman-Fried\u2019s donations were House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), and Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA).<\/p>\n<p>Bankman-Fried was convicted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/sam-bankman-fried-pleads-not-guilty-allowed-to-conceal-who-is-securing-his-250-million-bond\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">not guilty<\/a> Eight charges including conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to perpetrate securities fraud were filed Tuesday.
