Anything that the Left disagrees. But, why should the Left fear debate? Simply, it is hard to win an argument when your policies don\u2019t work. The Left sees no reason to have a discussion when it can silence and censor its opponents. It is very logical. Unfortunately, the Left is not happy with censorship. And, of course, there is that pesky impediment to censorship, the First Amendment\u2019s protection of free speech. What can you do?<br \/>Get rid of the paranoia and euphemisms.<\/p>\n<p>On the hobnailed boot of the \u201cNew Left\u2019s\u201d marche through the institutions, antifree-speech radicals like Herbert Marcuse who are the proponent of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marcuse.org\/herbert\/publications\/1960s\/1965-repressive-tolerance-fulltext.html\">repressive tolerance<\/a>\u201d Talk about Orwellian euphemisms, have won the day. Free speech is now viewed as the major impediment to the Left\u2019s success. Over time, then, Marcuse\u2019s lengthy Leftist apologia for the Left\u2019s demand of \u201cfree speech for me but not for thee\u201d Become the current call for \u201ccontent moderation.\u201d The creation and projection of a narrative in which their hateful use of censorship to create their totalitarian state are deemed to be benevolent is called packaging. \u201ccontent moderation,\u201d The Left views its opponents with hatred, anti-science radicals or domestic terrorists. They want to cause harm and create fascist states.<\/p>\n<p>The Left\u2019s demand to be the censorious judge, jury, and executioner of what you can or cannot think or talk about is as laughable as it is despicable. There is no such thing, whether it&#8217;s run by Democrats and Republicans. \u201cmoderate\u201d The government conspiring with Big Tech in order to silence dissent. The fa\u00e7ade of the \u201cone-step-removed\u201d The government&#8217;s defense is not valid, as it does not apply to illegal searches that are carried out by police using private citizens. Collaborating to censor Americans leads to a radical, unconstrained, government that subjects sovereign citizens to unconstitutional civil right violations. These acts of maladministration are grounds for impeachment of government officials. They should also be held responsible for any legal damages caused to victims.<br \/>One need look no further than the COVID debates, where the government\u2019s desire for mandatory vaccines required the \u201ccontent moderation\u201d Of not only dissidents, but of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/technology\/twitter-files-white-house-censor-covid19\"><i>itself<\/i><\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<div><i>The current White House is the latest in a string of bombshells compiled by the Twitter Files \u201crigged the COVID debate\u201d Information that was not censored is obliterated \u201cinconvenient to government policy,\u201d discrediting experts and doctors who disagree with the administration&#8217;s narrative. By suppressing ordinary users, which includes those who share data from the CDC, journalist <\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/davidzweig\/status\/1607378386338340867\"><i>David Zweig<\/i><\/a><i> Twittered Monday<\/i><\/div>\n<p>This cannot be repeated enough. The guise \u201ccontent moderation,\u201d government censorship \u2013 <i>Information generated by and disseminated through the government<\/i> \u2013 was employed as part of its coercive campaign to compel mandatory vaccinations of citizens, including healthcare workers, first responders, the military, and government contractors. Why? Because the truth interfered with what the government wanted to do to people \u2013 people who are, by constitutional design, not subjects but sovereigns.<\/p>\n<p>It is a lesson lost upon a radical government\u2019s promoters and practitioners. Ted Lieu, U.S. Representative (D-Calif.) demonstrates this in a tweet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/democrat-ted-lieu-blasted-deleting-tweet-fact-check\">patronizingly deigned to enlighten<\/a> the public regarding the government\u2019s censorship of itself and others over the COVID information:<br \/>\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<div><i>Dear @davidzweig, The tweet that you cite is misleading. Vaccines are beneficial for all age groups that are at risk of COVID. Natural immunity may only last for a few months. Children are at greatest risk from COVID.<\/i><\/div>\n<p>After Elon Musk and others pointed out Rep. Lieu\u2019s tweet was false and outdated information, he deleted it. What Rep. Lieu\u2019s behavior evinces is how radical government will not only falsely claim the truth to be \u201cmisleading\u201d It will attempt to censor it to achieve its ends by issuing misinformation, disinformation and malinformation as well. The government can censor the public to prevent them from accessing information. \u201cspeaking truth to power,\u201d radical government will be unstoppable, and the foundational principle that the public is sovereign over a servant government will join Rep. Lieu\u2019s tweet down history\u2019s memory hole.<\/p>\n<p>Do not make a mistake \u201cContent moderation\u201d Radical censorship is a form of radical censorship that leads to a radical government that tramples every citizen&#8217;s rights and makes them subordinates. After all, if the government can censor itself, what can\u2019t it do to you?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Hon. Thaddeus McCotter (M.C.
