More than one-fourth of those polled said they know of someone who believes they may have died from the shot.<\/p>\n<p>37% of Americans believe it unlikely that COVID vaccines have caused an unspecified number of deaths. However, 14% of Americans are unsure, 49% agree, and 49% state it is probable. 28% of those who stated it was possible said so. &#8220;very likely&#8221; According to a report, the shots caused deaths. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/public_surveys\/died_suddenly_more_than_1_in_4_think_someone_they_know_died_from_covid_19_vaccines\">Rasmussen poll<\/a> Published Monday.<\/p>\n<p>When asked if they had ever met anyone who died from the COVID vaccine, 28% answered yes, while 61% replied no.<\/p>\n<p>71% of those surveyed said that they had received a COVID vaccination, while 26% did not. This is not a significant difference from the U.S. overall population. <a href=\"https:\/\/covid.cdc.gov\/covid-data-tracker\/#vaccinations_vacc-people-booster-percent-pop5\">Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data<\/a>\u00a0shows that\u00a091.8% of Americans over the age of 18 have received at least one COVID shot and\u00a078.7% have completed their primary vaccine series.<\/p>\n<p>The CDC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/safety\/adverse-events.html\">Vaccine Adverse Effect Reporting System<\/a> received preliminary reports of death in 0.0027% of people\u00a0vaccinated through Dec. 14, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Minorities are more likely believe COVID vaccinations may have contributed to significant deaths. In fact, 46% of white Americans, 48% black Americans, 57% of minorities and 46% of others believe it to be at least somewhat probable that the vaccine caused significant deaths.<\/p>\n<p>Rasmussen conducted the poll with 1,000 U.S. adults between Dec. 28-30.
